Stufficorn Began With A Cork
I was 7 years old when I realized that my art could be given as a gift. My grandma would happily receive a picture I drew at her house during the summer. My parents kept the drawings I carefully painted from school on the fridge. I was shy, but found I was able to express my feelings for people through art.
As I got older, I began to feel that people were no longer interested in gifts that I created. Despite how much heart and thought I put into a creation, in my head, giving art felt cheap. I was self -conscious about giving anyone my imaginative gifts.
Finding time to shop for gifts at a store was almost impossible. I worked, took some classes and had rent to pay. Which meant money was also an issue. I could create really great gifts within my free time and budget but because of my embarrassment, I lost the desire.
I was left feeling like I was letting people down, so I avoided events where I knew a gift would be required.
Many years later and after the birth of my child, I rediscovered happiness in creating art and the joy it brought me to see my toddler's face light up. Making small toy gifts for my child out of corks that I hand painted made me reminiscence why I loved gifting art to others.
In 2021, I opened my stationery shop Stufficorn. This would become the place where I could share my love of art and creating gifts. A community
where people could gather to share heartfelt gifting ideas.
The Stuffi Friends characters embody kindness, friendship and giving. Each character has their own unique personality and even when life isn’t perfect, they still have each other to lean on. This is a reflection of what I want my brand to be.
The Stuffi Friends find joy in the little things in life and appreciate a tiny heartfelt gift from someone who cares.

The Corks That Started It All
I handpainted so many characters. My kid couldn't get enough of these.
